Larry Page
Lawrence "Larry" E. Page (born March 26, 1973 in Ann Arbor, Michigan) is one of the founders of the Google internet search engine. He is a graduate of East Lansing High School. Page has a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering from the University of Michigan, and a Masters degree from Stanford University.
Page is still "on leave" from the PhD program.
Larry Page is the son of Carl Vincent Page, a professor of computer science at Michigan State University, and Gloria Page.
The development of Google started while Page was a student in the PhD program in computer science at Stanford University. Google was developed in collaboration with Sergey Brin, and the Google search engine started operating in 1989.
